The compass is equipped with:
- bearing indicator;
- deviation device, ensuring smooth regulation of the vessel magnetic fields compensation;
- inductionless compensator of quadrantal deviation.
For the first time in domestic magnetic compasses, the magnetic sensor is developed on the base of the ring anisotropy magnet, increasing the compass accuracy at the expense of reduction of deviation levels of higher orders. The magnetic moment of the ring magnet is practically stable during service period.
